Rapid Growth and Expansion
Twelve months after our inception, we opened our first office in Welshpool. This milestone was quickly followed by securing our first overseas client. Marking the beginning of our impressive growth as well as our international reach.
By February 2007, our team expanded to five members, necessitating the purchase of a new office space at Severn Business Centre. Today, this space remains our head office, a home away from home for our developers and designers, reinforcing our Welsh roots.
Recognised for Excellence
In 2010, we won the Young Entrepreneurship Prize at the Powys Business Awards, a testament to our hard work and dedication. The following year, we received the same award again, along with the Daily Post Achievement Wales Business Award in the small business category.
Team and Office Expansion
Our team continued to grow, reaching 10 members by September 2012. In July 2014, we expanded to Chester, increasing our team to 15 by March 2015.
With a growing team, we appointed Jon Knight as Technical Director in March 2016 and Alex Hinton as Operations Director in August 2018, ensuring smooth operations and continuous innovation. Furthermore, continuing our commitment to producing award-winning digital development.
Celebrating Milestones
In 2019, we celebrated our 15th anniversary and Richard was honoured with the Entrepreneur Award at the Powys Business Awards, reflecting our ongoing commitment to excellence.
Continued Growth
gloversure has grown into a team of 21, with 2019 marking our largest year for staff growth. In the last five months alone, we welcomed five new members to our team, continuing our expansion despite Brexit uncertainties.
